Personal Log: AERO 510 Bridgeless Atomizer by Bogey

Day 1 - Arrival

Pulled the package from the mail on January 17th. The atomizer was sent in a padded envelope. Inside it were the two HH's I ordered and the AERO in a small plastic bag with an AERO Logo on the bag. The finish on this one is stainless steel. It appears no different in looks on the outside than any other 510. It has no bridge as advertised, and you can see straight to the coils.

Then I ate Dinner. and promptly fell asleep until 9pm...

Day 2

The Aero metered in at 1.5 ohms. The next decision is what device should I use it on?

I decided on Huggy Bear my walnut bocote woodvil with a fresh 18650.

juice selection is my home made crapplemon (cranberry apple cinnamon). It's 80/20 14mg.

First few draws. Lots of juice in the mouth. I overfilled. vaping though it I got to the sweet spot.

The draw is very light and airy. No stiffness at all.

Squonking is much like the HH. If you go to the gurgle you will get juice in the mouth.

Vapor is good. I think it's ever so slightly less if not on par with the HH 1.5 ohm.

Flavor is a mixed bag. It's bringing out more cinnamon than the HH. Not sure if I can say its better or worse. I will continue testing.

Day 3

Full disclosure: I am using this atty on my evening mod, not my workday mod. So it's only used between 5-10pm.

So not a lot to report. It seems to have broken in a bit. The draw is ever so slightly tighter, but still very airy. Unlike other atty's this one seems fairly forgiving. If you vape to far on it you get a VERY short hiss, not the long excrutiating one i get on others. Vapor is still good, but I think it's not as comparable as I thought to the HH357. Dont get me wrong its good! Plenty, and remember I vape 80/20. The flavor has come in tonight and upped a bit. So far I am pleased.

Take a look on Robs site at the woodvils. The walnut bocote pictured is the one I have. Tell me that mod doesn't scream huggy bear

Day 4-5

Interesting days. The atty is still putting out great vapor and good taste... kinda. It seems in the last day it's gotten into a habit of either being under or over squonked. Now, I didn't earn the title atty slayer for nothing, but this is giving me some pause, and it has definitely made a change to flavor.

Tomorrow is atty cleaning day, so we will see if that makes a difference. (oh on a side note I am also trying a 3.0ohm HH357 at 6v. If anyone wants I would be happy to track my progress thier too.

Sounds like it's performing exceptionally well at this point. Especially when you didn't clean it for 4-5 days. Interested to hear your update after it has been cleaned/dried. Durability is always a big factor for me.
