Never heard anyone say a pure VG vape was harsh, EVER, so it might just be the nicotine, or possibly the flavors. Try lowering the nic, different flavors, etc. There's really nothing that will "smooth out" VG, since it's already an extremely smooth vape -- generally it's advised to add VG when a vape is too harsh.

What mod and tank are you using? I am allergic to pg also so i vape 100% vg in my sub tanks i vape 6mg nicotine and in my regular tanks i vape 12mg nicotine.

not that i think its is a fix for my issue, it's just time for an upgrade.
In the morning or after eating certain foods/beverage it seems rather...irritating to the throat with a sort of.....
offensive tangy/bitterness.. might be the right description, not burnt/dry tho, that really sucks.

That's what it sounds like. I LOOOOOOOOOVE that bite after eating! Best throat hit EVER!! Though I find it a little harder to take, first thing in the morning, so I vape something then with less TH. I'd suggest something sweet/creamy; I always have to add a lot of Flash to my sweet/creamy vapes, so they have any TH at all.

Not surprising really; they're in FL, which seems to have one of the crappiest USPS in the whole country. But pretty sure that TPA/TFA does ship to CA, someone was commenting on it earlier today in the TFA thread. With those, though, you really need to combine several to get a good juice; they're like building blocks, rather than "complete" flavors. Need plenty of creams and vanillas for those to really shine, though there are exceptions -- just mixed one called flamingo, created originally for TFA flavors -- 8% strawberry, 7% juicy peach, and 3% coconut, with 2% sweetener -- it's pretty good. Kinda growing on me; quite different from strawberries and cream, but very good.

Outstand find, Andria. Pg has never been a problem for me, but great research.
I was talking to the lady at TPA. and she told me that out of the few non PG flavors there that the ** double star labeled bases
containing (Ethyl Alcohol)could not be shipped to me
but the ones with no stars containing (Triacetin)could be But are know to be hard on plastic attys

That sounds like a nic problem. VG itself should come across with a slightly sweet taste and no harshness. And certainly not anything tangy or bitter about it. Sounds like it's time to source some new nic samples to test.
http://www.diyflavorshack.com Ships to Canada and they do have some flavorings that are PG free.
I get the Vaperstek Throat-hit nicotine because it's cheap and I love TH, but I hear the "clean" vaperstek nicotine is supposed to be some of the best you can buy, very smooth and nearly tasteless. It's a bit more costly than "ordinary" nicotine, but I guess if that's what you need, then it's not unreasonable. I guess it's more highly refined or something.
