i read that propylene glycol is toxic to cats if ingested. i was wondering if my cat breathing secondhand pg vapor could harm him. Anyone out there have anymore info on this?
Not sure where you read this but PG is a common ingredient in many things around the home, toothpaste, mouthwash etc. and of course asthma inhalers, Never heard of any problems with cats and these items. Can you link the info you have?
hello. here is the skinny. Cats should not ingest large quantities of pg as it causes kittie enemia. (heinz body syndrome). That said, the reports I've seen say that you should just avoid directly blowing it in their face. They are not going to get it from just the vapor in the air.
Cats of course, love to get into things that are not good for them. keep your juice in the cabinet.
