PG and Dehydration

I noticed this too, but didn't start drinking more water right away and got dehydrated after a single evening of chain vaping and reading ECF.

Not exhaustive research, but I've noticed it takes about 20oz of water for every two hours or so to feel somewhat 'lubricated'. Since I don't vape at work, I'm sticking to just one or two cups of coffee and then 8oz of water every hour until quitting time.

i read somewhere here a few days ago, that someone reported that PG does / can dehydrate the body
hence its very important for vapors to drink regulary water.

however i cant find the thread anymore, can somebody point me to that thread?

Possibly this thread? Kinda hard to say - if you use the search function and search for 'Dehydrate', you'll get plenty of results.

However, in my opinion - It's not just PG that will dry your throat out. It's simply vaping in general and all of the components involved. You're heating up your throat, adding/subtracting moisture, some (small) form of alcohol is present in the juice; and typically, take deeper breaths (which in my opinion is the biggest factor involved). I have noticed that all vapers will take a much heavier/deeper draw on an e-cig than an analog; and naturally, more air means a dryer throat. Yes, vapor is a form of liquid - but most of that vapor is leaving your throat on the exhale, not lingering. Of course, I have no scientific evidence - just a theory.
