Hey everyone. I've been vaping for only 4 months and already purchased way too much stuff because of reading this site, lol. I started with the Ego-c, then to the Silver Bullet, and now I have two Ego-Twists. I wish I bought a high end variable voltage device instead of the Silver Bullet so maybe that will be my next purchase.

Quick question here. Lately ive been pretty dehydrated from vaping. I'd wake up in the middle of the night very thirsty. I've been slipping back to analogs lately because I don't being really thirsty. I try to drink as much water as possible but I still feel thirsty. Besides drinking more water, is there any way to reduce the amount of dehydration from vaping? Would you recommend using VG instead of PG juice? Also, would turning down the power on the ego-twist help also?

thanks

1) I vape hard and my body has adjusted to it all...
2) Check into other sources of dehydration. When I was lifting on high protein and overtaining it really was noticeable as a package deal
3) Vaping should not make you all that dehydrated if you are pounding water. But exercise+nicotine+stress+coffee+diet high protein (my life) can add up.
4) Drinking as much water as possible and never feeling hydrated can be an insulin response or diabetes/2... Try upping the carbs as they stock water in the body. If it doesn't help it's not just vaping. As Stosh said, carbs help if you are vaping long and hard--I'd use it at times or sugar my coffee. Recognize nicotine triggers insulin changes-- if you vape and slam some sugar/sugar water and feel "better" you have have been hungry or low on carbs and getting the insulin response.
5) You may want to try another company for your juice and see if it's the juice. Some people have reported their body just doesn't like the same juice after a time and rejects it...

Vaping, coffee, tea, and any cola based drink are all dehydrating. Caffeine itself is found in all coffee, even decaf has some left, a version of it in tea and all colas.

I am also in agreement with Ralikar's post.

That's really good to know, I drink a cup of coffee in the mornign and have a diet coke here and there throughout the day w/o thinking about how it may be drying me out.

I usually have a glass of iced tea in one hand and my pv in the other. I thought I was getting plenty of hydration. Couple of weeks ago I started getting bad headaches in the evenings and I rarely ever have headaches -but this was happening every night. One of the threads on here was about dehydration so I started drinking a glass of tea then a full glass of water. I haven't had a headache since.
