I would like to thank all that replied to me.
I was under the understanding that VG was not as safe as PG. I will try the different mixes to see what I like.
I guess anything is better than smoking my old marlboro lights!

Just because people use 100% VG doesn't mean it's safer than 100% PG. Or the other way around. We really have very little data. Although, if you forced me to bet, I'd say PG is safer than VG in most people. There have been studies of light PG inhalation. VG...IDK. There was at least one reference to a woman that had some lipid problems in her lungs supposedly from the VG but I don't know if that's confirmed at all....so take with a grain of salt. I Think she also had other factors going on.

Not an expert here.

I do know that PG is more irritating to me than VG. However, VG gives me a "heaving feeling" where PG does not. So I keep VG to a minimum if I use it at all....say 10%. Most of the TH comes from the nic anyway.

I use both, started with VG out of fear. Now I try various mixes, 50/50, more VG or vice versa, sometimes whatever ratio the vendor suggests. I used to hate the taste of PG but now I know it depends on the flavor. I wish vendors would sell discounted sampler packs of one flavor in multiple ratios so I'm not wasting money trying to figure it out on my own.

VG does give more vapor but I say it dulls the flavor more than PG and reduces throat hit ... PG hold flavor better its thinner and produces less vapor .. so when using heavy VG it will sometimes have a time soaking into your wicking ... I use 50/50 ... sometimes I use 65%PG/35%VG

Either of those above produce clouds of vapor, so it depends on what you like better, try a few of the same flavors in a few different combo's would be my opinion to see what you like better, then run with it, but still knowing different flavors still can act differently in the future when deciding on percentages of PG and VG

Using a variable volt device really makes a huge difference in all this, dialing it up for a warmer vapor can give more hit than say a cool vapor (my opinion), I am using a Provari V2.5 and a Vamo V2 and "Vision" branded Vivi Nova tanks 3.5ml version

Great ! So the VG gives the smoke. And PG gives the taste? Or am I still confused

Kind of. Perhaps PG allows for the flavor additives to be detected easier, which would probably be because VG already has a sort of sweet syrupy thing going for it, which might overpower flavor additives. I used to find VG liquids to be more flavorful because of this, and felt PG's were more dry flavored, but have found with more experience that some vendors can make very sweet flavor out of PG. This is coming from my very limited knowledge of e-liquid, I've always been one to find something good and stick with it, so I've really only tried maybe 40 or so flavors from about 10 vendors in the 4 years I've been at this. I also know nothing about juice mixing.

I like 60/40 PG/VG but VG mutes flavors more than PG. I mix my own so I can adjust to what I like. One thing I'm learning is VG seems to mute citrus flavors. It really just comes down to personal favorites. I like the vapor production from higher VG. VG also doesn't like to get cold. It gets really thick and won't wick worth a darn
