Ok so ive been doing all kinds of research on vaping even since I stared vaping, and stumbled across several articles stating the potent germicidal qualities of pg in an aerosol form. Im very much intrigued, as it begs the question, could vaping not only be a better alternarive to smoking but also actually be good for a nonsmoker to begin as a partof a healthy lifestyle? (At 0% nicotine content)
THE MECHANISM OF AERIAL DISINFECTION BY GLYCOLS AND OTHER CHEMICAL AGENTS

Medicine: Air Germicide - TIME
If this is true it should be a subject of any conversation with peope interested in vaping.
So here is my question: Have any of you experienced this effect of having fewer occurences of respiratory illness and/or illness in general?

This is interesting. I did read somewhere about vaping helping fight illness but I don't remember where. I also dismissed it believing it was just a reply to the anti-vape community. However, I have a history of chronic bronchitis. Every year in the fall I get bronchitis. I also suffered from asthma as a kid but I guess grew out of it. Anyway, I smoked analogs for 15 years. I quit smoking 4 years ago. Last year I dabbled with vaping. I started with little or no nicotine. Now a year later I still vape as a hobby. Like when on the computer or watching TV. This year was the only year I can remember not getting bronchitis. Also the common cold was rampant through my place of employment the past two months. I was one of the few that did not get it. Maybe coincidence, maybe not.

Revisit this old post. A month passed since I last replied. Another round of an upper respiratory bug has hit home. My oldest daughter and wife have been sick now for about a week and a half. Runny nose, coughing sore throat. My youngest daughter only has the runny noise but she's had it for about a week. Guess who had none of it? This guy. Knock on wood, probably. I'm starting to believe this study a little. Has nobody else noticed a reduction in being sick?
