PG is thinner, carries the flavor better

VG is thinker(lot thicker), mutes the flavors, produces much better vapor, is more natural some even "organic".

Some people have allergic reactions to PG so they will go with VG but based on the studies I'm seen less then 10% of the population has this allergy.

If your not allergic or convinced your are....most folks recommend staying in the 10-30% VG rest PG for the best taste and vapor.

A mixture seems to work best imo - I use 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG mixes (pre made juices I dont DIY lol) and that gives me both flavor AND vapor.
True allergy to PG isnt common (although people do have it) and often its confused with the drying out that beginning vapers experience because vapor doesnt contain any chemicals to negate the humectant effect of the carrier (PG or VG). For that you have to drink lots of water (and your kidneys will love you for it)

A mix of the two is what I use. Most of my juices are mixed 70/30 PG/VG. This give me good flavor, great vapor and mild throat hit, which for me is perfect. This is also why I mix my own juice. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out what is exactly right for yourself, but it's worth the time.

There are a lot of USA juice manufacturers that will custom make juice. Go with one of them and have them make a pure PG flavor you like and a pure VG in the same flavor and start mixing them. Do small batches and vape each one for a day.

So I guess the answer to your question is both.

Im not sure why (since im new too) but I started with 100% vg and loved it so thats something I didnt want to mess with. I did try others (the one's vendors will send you free with an order) and loved the taste so I cant say whats better.
I do know that since pg is thinner than vg it drips out of the bottle faster than vg (something IMO I dont care for) so I usually dont go below a 50/50 mix.
I also think the thicker vg may clog up the atty faster (requiring sooner cleaning/flushing) but then again, attys are disposable right??
Like others say, try both and decide whats right for you as we are all different when it comes to taste!
