Hey everyone, I'm still new to vaping. I'm on day 5. About 2 days ago I noticed that a sore was forming on the bottom of my tongue, and gums seem a bit sore near the teeth, and the top of my tongue is mostly all dry. They are still like that now.

Was wondering what causes this. My ecigs use pg, would switching to vg make it better, or is it just the nicotine?

It COULD be - but it could also be a reaction to the heat - or the drying effects of the vapor, or the fact you are now mostly absorbing nicotine thru your mucus membranes (inside of mouth/tongue) and not lungs as much as with ciggies; the thing is we don't know for SURE, only that it rarely hangs around. It's not a bad idea to switch to a % of VG and see if anything changes - I've had similar on the roof of my mouth with BOTH kinds of liquids, and I very much doubt that, for ME, its a sensitivity to PG.
