PG Smell

I had ordered a bottle of PG through a reputable dealer a month or so ago.
I noticed a high chemical smell in the straight PG liquid. Is this normal?
I have noticed no smell in VG I ordered from the same supplier.

I did dump the PG, because of the aftertaste in my juices and the smell
of it. Is this a bad batch or normal? I do try to vape both and like a 50/50
mixture. Thanks

You should contact that supplier regarding that. I know from personal experience and from reports from others here, that there were 'bad batch' unflavored nicotine juice and also flavored juice that was from Dekang. The best I could figure out from the PRD dates on labels (production dates) that the bad stuff was produced from around late May 09 to late July 09 but it took a while for the product to get out, so some were experiencing the harsh 'chemical', perfumey smell and taste as late as October.

Any Dekang juice that was produced in August 09 and after, in my experience, was good juice, and that situation no longer exists.
