Thanks Kate...... Just reread the Time Article and noticed the tiny grey "dateline" 1942! LMAO

If there were any question re. my "Newbness" this thread should put those questions to rest.

From now on, when I stumble upon some Great exciting New news articles regarding e-cigs I'll PM them to you first so I may avoid all the public ridicule that is 'bout to heaped on me for starting this thread.

Lol, hopefully you won't be ridiculed.

There's nothing wrong with bringing these old topics back to life again. It's the nature of forums to go around in circles but with different people on board all the time.

I bet there are a lot of new members who didn't know about this research and it's very important for us, it's the only scientific proof we have about inhaling any of our ingredients.

Hey, I learned something new :) I had no idea that Time magazine archived all its old publications online. I guess I'm going to have start double checking the dates on those Time articles too, lol.

I see that link was in TB's original thread but I had only read what he and others had to say about it. I hadn't ever actually clicked on the link till now. That and I'm a thread skimmer on some of this stuff. A refresher course never hurt anyone. ;)

Anyway, cool stuff man!

For any history buffs out there here's the cover for that Nov. 1942 issue:

Mike, nothing over the years since that study has negated its conclusion. It still stands that PG is a formidable germ-killer. Dr. Murray Laugesen of Health New Zealand references those studies and others in his most recent interim report on e-smoking, where he says all is well, so far, so good. PG has since been tested on even children. No harmful effects. I wish more posters here read the Health section from cover to cover ...

The testing a bit later went further, and was done on primates, since the respiratory system in mice is not directly comparable to humans. Primates' are our DNA relatives. And the protection remained.

In Dr. Laugesen's latest report (October), he found that later research on PG protection was done on human children and adults, with the same germ-killing results and no side effects of note. He includes those facts in his report and cites the references.

So PG is good for killing germs this isa good thing. But how about tolarance to PG over time and its ablity to kill germs over time with in our body. And what about VG... of course its not a germ killer but what are the benifits using this...and what other ingrediants can we use that would be benificail for those who are alergic to PG...im glad i can use PG which i enjoy but I also enjoy the flavor of VG which intesifies the sweatness of the tabacco flavor ejuice.....any thoughts for the VG lovers to get this kind of benifit that PG gives?

In many many years to come long after most of the people we know now are gone. We will still be here, as we have discovered the fountain of youth.

The only way to prove my theory is to "Keep on Puffin' "

I already look and feel ten years younger.

It's only been three months and one day!
