I have searched a bit, and have not found any info to answer a few questions, so...

Have there been any studies done to determine the absorption rate of nicotine in pg base vs vg base?
I'm asking because I mixed some juice last night, with the same nicotine base I have been using, but with a higher level of pg in the final solution, and slightly diluting the nicotine level. Yet... Feeling and exhibiting signs of more nicotine absorbtion.
I'm 100% positive, I didn't mix it too strong(I'm starting w 36mg/VG solution and diluting from there) but I usually vape 70% VG. I'm using it same as usual, but feeling more nicotine rush.
So .... I'm no doctor by any means... But could it be a possibility that pg accelerates nicotine into the bloodstream vs vg? Or possibly just carries and/or delivers it more efficiently than vg?

Thoughts? Evidence? Proffesional opinions?

The answer to this can probably be found in regular tobacco research literature. The reason for this is that both PG and glycerine are added to cigarette mixes, and the materials are subject to research first. These materials are universal, so that the information is not regarded as proprietary.

For example one thing I read in that area of research literature is that the higher the percentage of PG added to a cigarette, the less nicotine is available (due I imagine to 'PG lock-in', although that wasn't defined there). By that I mean that if you mix nicotine with PG and pour it on your skin, you might have something like 5x the time to wash it off, and a 5x less powerful effect, than with pure nic or nic in water. PG reduces the bioavailability of nicotine; but I don't know if that is purely a time effect or absolute.

So it is interesting to see that you feel VG locks it in even better. You may be right. Let us know if you find anything via google etc.
