Some people disagree with that recommendation, however. Tropical Bob, for example, prefers PG based liquids and believes that PG itself has beneficial aspects.

Personally, I plan to use a mixture of both PG and a lesser amount of VG as my nicotine strength reducer when my 36 mg liquid arrives.

Okay, but it kinda defies logic to use more PG for cutting unless those disagreeing are fellow chemists that have also done professional testing in a lab environment with diff results. I just want everyone to stay as safe as possible :)

Havannaharrys - i found some at Hobby Lobby but it was for making soap and was not recommended for internal use. Don't suppose you got some of that by accident?

That ebay post looks interesting even though to me the label looks home made. f you order some let us know how it works out.

It was the same VG that was used in one of the cutting videos I found on youtube and on this forum.
I got the PG from that ebay auction, got here in a day. So far so good, it makes great vapor and so far its working out. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

I smoked 1.5 (occasionally 2) packs/day Pall Mall Orange (Lights) which I think had the same nicotine per cigarette as Marlboro Lights 100's - .9 per cigarette or 18mg per pack. Assuming I would vape as much as I smoked, I went with the per-pack amount of 18mg nic per ml and figure I am vaping the equivalent of 1.5 packs. It's working out OK for me. I think 18mg is a fairly typical amount for lights ex-smokers.

When I started I also bought some 12mg in case the 18mg was too high if I overdid vaping. But I only overdid once with some Peach ejuice that just didn't have an "ok - stop now" feel to it.

For the person above - I think Dipropyl Glycol is a different thing from Propylene Glycol (i.e. PG)
