Welcome cpat and congratulations on the Triton. I've used 100% VG (Vanda from Johnson Creek) and at first it vapes fine but then it will thicken and not vape as quickly. At that point you can add 2 drops of water to thin and it will wick better. If you will take a "toot" or two then put it down and wait a minute to let it wick, it will vape fine like that too. I have 50/50 with no problems and was going to try 80vg/20pg next. What ratio have you tried so far?

it was jc read oak domestic 100% vg. flooding and leaking. first non halo juice. thanks for the reply

Yes mine is the Johnson Creek Red Oak Vanda and I have Rainer but it is steeping so I haven't tried it yet. How fast and hard do you draw on it. Mine does alot better if you draw on it slowly and softer.

I use the G6 for work & public and the Triton for home. On the G6 I use a cartomizer and it seems to wick a little better than the Triton tank for 100% VG and you can use the cartos and the mini tanks on the Triton batteries. The little cone thingy that comes with the starter kit is for use on the Triton battery when using a cartomizer.

cpat if it was flooding and leaking the replacement coil may have been loose. Always before you fill a tank be sure the coil (on the center post in the tank) is screwed on good and that the condom is all the way down. If it is loose it will cause leaking. My 100% VG hasn't leaked any.

thanks for the advice.
i need to remember slow soft draw.
it does seem to work better on my g6 mini tank.
weird
so if i stay around 50/50 mix i should be good ?

Yes 50/50 isn't a problem. I like VG and was going to try 80vg/20pg to see if it wicks better than 100%. And the mini tanks seem to be a little warmer vape than the Triton to me. Which may be why it vapes better in the mini for you.

Nanny22 can only vape 100%VG she may have some advice and tips for you better than I can do.

Hi cpat! I have had the same experience with 100% VG juice as Evie above stated. So far no leaks, so I would suspect that something was probably loose. Sometimes when you unscrew the mouthpiece to rinse or wipe it, you actually unscrew the center post a bit, too, without knowing it.

You do have to also be careful not to overfill. I have accidentally done that a time or two by not having the tank level when filling in a hurry.
As Evie said, I am on 100%VG and as long as I remember to slow down and keep my wicks wet, everything is good. Even easier with the thinner PG added juices.

It's great that you can vape the Halo juices, I wish they had some with more VG so I could join the party. Maybe soon they will, lots of companies are adding a VG line. But don't be afraid of non-Halo juice. I've tried just about everything and the Triton handled it just fine!

Oh that would be nice if Halo offered their juices in 100% VG, I don't need the throat hit from the PG. That is a great idea Nanny22!!

The PG carries the flavor better. So if you are going 100% VG I would recomend you grab it from a place that will let you double or triple the flavor.

I feel like no matter what though, the PG vapes quicker and easier. No matter what, everything gets thicker as you go through the tank.

As far as I know...

VG=More vapor (clouds)

PG=Throat hit and carries the flavor better.

Also, I feel depending on the juice, the nic either vapes slower or quicker as well.

Oh, and some sellers will even let you choose your PG/VG ratio. I can send you to a great seller of just juices that will let you customize your pg/vg and amount of flavor if you can't find anyone. All %100 natural and american made.
