This is my first post.

I see a lot of questions on what the PG/VG ratio is for certain juices.

Given that propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin have different specific gravities, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what an ejuice ratio is that you like.

PG SG = 1.033

VG SG = 1.261

Both at 25C. That's enough difference to accurately measure a blend.

if you use a hydrometer at 25C (77F), write down the measurement of the juice you like.

50/50 should be the average, 1.147

70/30 should be = (0.7 X 1.033) + (0.3 X 1.261) = 1.101

I haven't yet tried this to prove it out, but that equation works for industrial caustic blending where I work.

Ill update this this when I get a chance to try this out.

I what does "It shouldn't be too hard" mean? I have 2 Hygrometers, and I thought that was geeky enough. What's a hydrometer and are they cheap and easy to use? Is this like weighing yourself in water to find out your percentage of body fat?

This is a hydrometer. It measures the difference in fluid density and compares it to water.

Generally if it doesn't say the percentages on the bottle i wont touch the stuff and just trust that it is what it says on the bottle

As as General Rule I agree, BUT I will say there are Makers that have Proprietary Blends for their Flavors and I respect that. What I will Not touch, are bottles that are not Juice colored i.e Food coloring! I do not want the color to Match a Flavor I just want Juice that taste Good not stuff that is going to gunk up my coil anymore than it has to...

Yeah, I used the tried and true method of, vape this, that vape is to harsh, vape that, that vape is to bland, vape this, ahh that vape is just right. Discovered I like high VG juice. I mix at 70-80% VG. Like the nice smooth flavorful satisfying vape high vg delivers.

I keep reading stuff that says VG = Vapor, PG = Taste. I'm a noob though...
