PG/VG ratio

Same cost for PG or VG based e-liquid. You just need to find a vendor that offers the ratio of PG/VG that you desire.

Oh, and welcome aboard ECF!

Thanks bro.

Hmm, is that so? I keep on wondering why some e-Juice here are dirt cheap and some are twice the price of the cheap one.. THats wHY i thought that price of e-liquids depend on VG/PG Ratio, the higher VG is the expensive one and vice versa

If this is wrong, what makes an e-juice expensive?

It all depends on the brand.

Sometimes it may be really bad juice (ie taste gross!)

Sometimes its because the process of mixing it is simple - if a the ejuice mixing process is simpler vs more complex I would expect the simple process to be cheaper

Processing - Some e liquids may undergo additional steeping processes/etc which may raise the price. others may just be mixed and sent out

Development - If the flavour profile took the crafter very long to get, he/she would want to get compensated for the time it took to make the flavour!

And lastly sometimes it can just be a brand name =). Some companies see the opportunity to make money off others and do (which there is nothing wrong with...), others may price their juice to be more affordable, even though they could sell it for more!

Pretty much the manufacturer sets their own prices. Number and quality of employees, packaging (glass vs plastic bottles), built in drippers, purity, child-proof bottles, labeling, flavor research/development, brand loyalty, etc. The amount of nicotine can increase cost as well.

You have Mt. Baker Vapor on the inexpensive end, Halo and many other e-liquids on the high end. (pre-made e-liquid).

You can buy the USP unflavored nicotine base with the PG and VG and nicotine built in, and then add your own flavoring yourself and save a lot of money. You'll need syringes and small bottles (15 or 30 ml) to transfer the e-liquid to.

If you want to DIY your own, you can get a lot of help in the DIY area on this forum. There are even recipes for mixing flavorings from various vendors.

**THE NAUTILUS WILL LIKELY BE UNABLE TO WICK ANYTHING MORE THEN 60/40 vg/pg***

I started off going 50/50 at 12 mg...i smoked a pack a day and thought that is what I needed. The throat hit was UNBEARABLE. Felt like someone extinguished a match on my tonsils!

Ended up using 50/50 3mg...Now I used drippers and prefer the 70-95% VG juices.

HOWEVER..the nautilus cannot wick high vg juices well at all. Unless you dont mind taking dry hits and having ruined coils, i wouldn't exceed beyond 60-40 for that device.

I second this! The store I buy my juice from primarily sells 70/30 and after a LOT of ruined coils and nasty dry hits I turned to this forum for help. Since then I have put extra PG in my juice and it works like a charm. I use the Kangertech Genitank with a 1.8 ohm coil, which is basically the same as what you are using. Also tried distilled water (another suggestion from this forum) and it worked well, but the extra pg instead is more satisfying for me.

Or could it be the flavor itself? Cos' the cheap ones are kinda common like Strawberry, Bubblegum, Strawbanana etc. majority are fruit flavors, and this expensive one that i'm talking about is "Goat's Milk", just got this "Goat's Milk 80 VG 20 PG 30ml 0 nic" from a trade for two which i said is very cheap "1 Strawberry Cream+1 Mountain Blast (tastes like Mountain Dew) both 30ml with 6 mg nic, and i dont know the VG/PG Ratio, but honestly its that good for a cheap price.. I just got curious with this Goat's Milk thats why i let go of these two

Yup the flavour itself was also covered as to why it might be more expensive.

"Development - If the flavour profile took the crafter very long to get, he/she would want to get compensated for the time it took to make the flavour!"

If its a simple flavour its usually just one flavour. They find the amount of flavour % they find works best in the mix and boom thats it.

On the other hand lets say theres 5 or 6 different flavours your using. Finding out the perfect % of each flavour will be a lot more work.

Now that doesn't mean these simple flavours are at all bad. They are just simple (but keep in mind simple flavours will vary between brand!)
And it works both ways...sometimes a complex flavour you may find its not for you.

One thing I learned since I started vaping is that juice descriptions rarely taste as good as they read....I have spent so much on juice that sounded so good only to be disappointed.

Unfortunately living in Canada the selection and options are limited so I have to order from the US. If you can, its always best to drip and try a flavour first! =)
