Hello,
I have been trying to find something that lets me know which one is the more "watery" one rather than the more "oily" one but this site has SO much information and SO many threads. If I remember correctly the higher PG the less "oily/thick" the liquid is, correct? I know I like the less heavy liquid because the heavier leave a bad taste in my mouth and seems to be a little dehydrating...
Thanks in adance!

Yep, PG is the thinner one.. VG is thicker. Many like a 50/50 blend of both, or if you would like a little "fuller" vape, and still have a thinner liquid, try a 70% PG / 30% VG mix. You will see the options when ordering from a company.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed a lot of websites I order from do not have an option to select different percentages so I just presume its 50/50 and get it wrong half the time. The higher VG I like lower nicotine the higher PG I can burn with higher. It is all very difficult to get down right. So basically only "vaping" for about 6 months I still have no clue! Love this site but slightly overwhelming to a newbie!

If you are in tanks, PG is better because it is thinner and tends to gunk the coils up less.
If you are in to RDA`s then higher vg is usually what people use due to the fact that VG is what makes the clouds. So if you are after clouds... then go with higher VG. I personally drip and like the flavor, but also like the clouds, I also prefer to have a juice that is nice and thick.,.... and I read all about allergies to PG and stuff, so for some reason, I just stick to VG, but, whatever works for you.

if you want... get a juice with max VG, and get one with max PG, Same flavors....see which one you like better of the two. then you can kinda treak it, by mixing or whatever

Most sites do.

Sorry an RDA is a Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer.

The only thing I can suggest is to check out some of our registered suppliers. in the suppliers forum. Quite a few of them have limits that are adjustable PG, and VG. Crimmies is more geared towards people who are in to rebulding, therefore they have less options on the PG

Hi SLEEVED and welcome aboard!

Two sites that allow you to have different PG/VG ratios are Mt Baker Vapor and ECBlend

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

The PG is the thinner liquid which helps to carry the flavor and gives you that rougher throat hit. The VG is the thicker one that provides the smoke and makes it smoother on your throat. The thicker juice should not leave a bad taste in your mouth, maybe you need to try different juice. If you buy your juice at a gas station sometimes that juice is not very good.

Thank you. I do not but from gas stations. Strictly online or the one shop near me. I buy Five Pawns, and however I love the flavor I find the thickness has a bad taste even when I burn using the lowest settings so I have to off-set it with a lower mg and blend with another less think flavor. I believe my liking the less thick juice has nothing to do with vapor or better hits but more what it does to the flavor. Does that make any sense? The thicker stuff, to me, tastes different and leaves a bad taste.

As a little trial you could add a little plain pg usp to any of the offending liquids to boost the pg levels.
It may decrease the flavour a bit. I was able to dilute all my liquids 100% with pg.
Yeah, it is less flavourful but I crank up the wattage and vape more to compensate.

A 500ml-1L bottle should cost under 10 bucks at any compounding pharmacy.
I also use plain pg to clean used coils and pre-soak new ones. Cheers.
