Where are you getting your VG?
If it's Wiltons© I'm not sure it's pure "USP" VG (99.7% Supervol).
I get a strange taste from Wiltons but not from the P&G. P&G is made from 100% vegetable base (Coconut hull I think).
It's sweet and cloud like in your mouth.
I'm like a VG connisseur :) since I have a bad reaction to PG base anything.

*I think my ex-wife must have been PG based* :w00t:

RFW.. if you want, I can send you some real VG to try. We're both in Texas, I can do snail mail. Shoot me a PM if your interested.

I don't really do anything but VG. Mostly Ecopure and BASIC. Pg does weird things to my throat, and i prefer the extra vapor anyways. All seem to work great on puresmoker HV both the usb protege extension and now the V2. I don't do any premixed tobacco flavors unless you count ecopure's tobacco flavored ones which are barely tobacco flavored. That said i've vaped ecopure krystal (which is unflavored) usually to help clear out an atty of flavor between two kinds, and i didn't notice any problems.

And right now i'm vaping krystal flavored with flavourart's dark vapure tobacco flavor, which tastes pretty damned good.

If anything in my experience, VG tastes better and tastes MORE at 5v.

HV brings out all the bad in some mixes for me too... since i've started at 5v's i can't even TOUCH the Carmel Cheesecake mix i make with:

TW PLatinum ice 54mb PG based
TW Aquos VG
Lorann's Carmel & Cheesecake
the PG i use is from another site that i'm failing to remember. but is USP grade. UGH i hate forgetting things.

have any of you used the Aquos VG from TW? i want to try to get some VG based liquid and see if i like it more than PG based... i would just think it would be SUPER thick and annoying to work with.

when mixing a VG based liquid do you just mix in like 5-10% distilled water to thin it out?

I use a dropper bottle full of distilled water. It only takes a drop or two to significantly change the viscosity of VG. Maybe 1 or 2 drops per 3ml.
Leave it a little thicker for HV.

The TW Aqueous VG is already pretty thinned out. Maybe even close to being a little too thin for HV vaping. *My opinion only*

I like it thick for 5v. Huge plumes of vapor with an airy soft cloud feeling in your mouth. Supervol has a ever so slight hint of sweetness like raw coconut milk or something.....
