PG vs VG concerning TH

TH is effected by several things.

VG has less "natural" TH, but can be just as strong as PG if there is a super high nic level (like your 36mg), PGA added, or high doses of certain flavors (Menthol, cinnamon, peppermint, etc)

If you wanted to reduce the TH of your PG juice, you can pick up some pure VG at most pharmacies (look for Glycerin, 99.5% pure or better), and cut your juice 80% PG and 20% VG, if it's still too strong, you can cut it more, but the more VG you add, the less flavor you'll get.

100% VG juices require a lot more flavoring to be added to get the same taste. freedomsmokeusa.com offers 3x flavorings, and they seem to be just enough for a 100% VG (Or 0%PG as I like to call it) juice.

Welcome to vaping, I'm still a bit of a newbie as well. I ordered 70% VG/ 30% PG from VaporBomb, kind of on accident. I got the VG and PG mixed up in my mind, was actually wanting more PG for TH. The flavors are out of this world amazing, so I'm not missing the strong TH as much but in the future I'll change it around. I know that VaporBomb and other juice vendors offer a lot of customization for your juices from how much nicotine it has, how much VG and PG you want and what sizes. They even let you make your own juices and they mix them by hand after you order them :) Very cool.

I've suggested people I know to check out sites like this so that you can have more control over your juice, especially when you're just starting out vaping and aren't sure exactly what you want yet.

hii! i'm new to all this, what does TH stand for? :3

Welcome Blur and neighbor!!! Anytime you see words in the forum with the dotted line under them, put your mouse on the word, and the real word will show up like a tiny pop up! Try it...it's pretty neat!

Throat his (TH) is basically the feeling you get from the vaporized juice hitting your throat as you inhale.
It is supposed to mimic the feeling of smoke hitting your throat when smoking cigarettes, but it is somewhat different.

Propylene glycol (PG) is one of the components of vape juice, and it is a skin irritant which irritates the upper respiratory tract.
It is probably that irritation, and also irritation from nicotine supposedly, that contributes to throat hit.

Some people like it and want more of it, some people don't like it and want less.
Finding the right mixture of PG/VG is the best way to find your own comfort zone.

Welcome Kinger.

Just wanted to drop a note and welcome you and let you know that it is impressive that you have done enough research to come up with the title for this thread.

It is funny, to me, to think about e-cigs/PVs/whatever-you-want-to-call-em and realize how jargon springs up about them. Just think about the new user who never saw an e-cig until today, joins ECF to investigate vaping and sees a thread like "PG vs VG concerning TH". lol. Not bashing your question (it is a good one). It's just that society, and jargon, is hilarious these days. The on-line stuff just feeds into it. lol. I wonder if any of us would have started smoking if we had to go through all this (probably would have...lol). Sigh.

Anyway, looks like you received a lot of great answers above. Good work on the research. Hope you get your PG/VG ratio set soon.

LOL! sometimes I go to the modders forum out of curiosity. It takes about a minute and a half before I high tail it out of there, I have absolutely no idea what the heck they are talking about.

I think I read the posts but I may have missed this suggestion - if you want to keep the same nic level (which seems you may be debating at this time), you can always purchase another bottle of the same flavor, with the same nic content but VG based. Mix your own ratios. Any good e-juice diy calculator can help with this if you don't want to play with any "math."
