Looking hard at getting this very nice looking and innovative unit. I normally vape high pg liquids - 90/10 or 80/20. For the ultramax and the RES, will there be a wicking issue? Given that the site starter liquids are VG based, I wanted to make sure that I won't have an issue with PG heavy liquid using the RES.

I vape 70pg 30vg and I do not have wicking issues, N8t has said that the wick was designed to work with vg but pg will wick faster since it is thinner. The res has a learning curve in regards to how long to wait between pulls to allow the atty to re wick but the learnign curve is actually much less than other feeders that I have tried and I have tried a few. There is a pretty great video in the review section that is in high def. I hope this helps.

The Ultra series were designed around 100% VG juices, which are a lot thicker than PG liquids. So if you use primarily PG liquid you should have no problems at all wicking with the UltraMax.

Darn...I was hoping you would tell me to forget it....Now I am going to have to buy one :) I am really loving the concept. My concern on the PG was not so much if it would wick but if it would "over wick". Sounds like it's a go.

Edit: I pulled the switch (or pushed up in this case :) ) Alpha Ultra on the way!

Thanks for working with me on switching from the ultra to the ultramax. I am looking forward to getting it.

No problem at all. Just glad you called in time before it went out the door. I think you will be very happy with the UltraMax. Be sure to keep us posted on how its performing for you.
