Hello,

After doing a lot of reading I purchased my 100mg NIC in PG as I heard it has a much better shelf life than the VG. I see quite a few post where folks purchased their NIC juice in VG. You can easily get to 50/50 vg/pg even with higher nic concentrates with 100% PG nic juice.

Is there any reason you would want to order NIC juice in VG?

Yes.

Some people are allergic to PG or sensitive to PG.

Personally since I use a lower amount of VG (30-40% total volume) I find it more economical to buy my nicotine base in VG. Also unless you're buying in really really large quantities shelf-life should not be a problem. If you're storing it because you're afraid of the FDA you can always store either in the freezer for a good long time in glass bottles (amber is preferred).

Neither PG or VG will freeze into a soild at deep freezer temperatures but they will become gel-like and react with oxygen less.

I find keeping no more than 120ml of nicotine base out (in a cool dark place--I don't have kids so a box in my chest of drawers is great) can keep me in juice for nearly four months (far shorter than the opened shelf life at room temperature for both VG and PG nicotine base). Of course I also mix frequently in small batches.
