So, since feb 2010 it's been pure VG for me. I bought a gallon of each recently and made some 50/50 at 18mg/ml nicotine, Watermelon.

Observations.

Wicks better in a smokymizer - Yes, so I imagine it will in anything.

More/better throat hit. Nope, no way. I think the opposite in my eyes. Maybe this TH thing is people that are sensitive to PG.

Better flavor, many claim VG dulls down flavor, especially maybe one like Watermelon(most delicate flavor on hand at the moment). I don't think so. VG is definitely sweeter or shall we say richer. Like heavy cream vs milk in your coffee or tea.

Less vapor. My gosh people act like the vapor difference is huge. really can't tell the difference at 50/50.

Less juice usage, some claim you go through VG quicker. I gotta say the PG seems to go much, much quicker. Just like thinning VG with water.

Haven't had it in the car but I bet it won't crud up my windows as fast as pure VG does. Defroster on helps keep the crud build up at bay.

hmm.. what else

Less odor in the air.

Less musty on the breathe/lips

doesn't hang around in the air as long, dissipates quicker.

Less oily?? to the touch.

I only have VG Nic base so I'll have to make a little No Nic to try 100% PG.

Oh, and the Essential Depots VG and PG is fantastic. I'm all giddy staring at basically two gallons(7680ml) of juice on my table. When I run out of this new bottle of 100mg/ml Nic (125ml) I'm making a run at no Nic.

I totally agree with your observations. :)

Question for you . . . I want to thin down my VG cos I believe it is causing my cartos to clog too quickly. I tried using distilled water but it clouded the juice. I don't know why. Have you tried anything else besides PG to thin it. I really need some suggestions.

I used softened well water and distilled without noticing any change I'm not sure what you mean by "clouded". Do you mean turned clear to cloudy? I guess if the juice is an emulsion, then adding water could break it(make it separate) and cloud. Like breaking a sauce in the cooking world. Or the distilled water or VG was somehow bad. Did it take time to cloud or did it cloud instantly/quickly?

Pure grain alcohol would be from a package store/liquor store, if they sell it in Michigan. If they don't sell PGA, just ask for the highest proof plain vodka, in NY we have Devil's Spring available. A half pint lasts a long time, we're only talking 1 - 1.5 ml per 30 ml of eliquid.

PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol) is sold in liquor stores as Everclear and Golden Grain neutral grain spirits.

Everclear comes in 190 proof and 151 proof versions. The 190 version is illegal in Michigan.

I buy Everclear in 200mL bottles and it lasts a long time. It's a good solvent and cleaner, works well for wiping down your vape device when you get juice on it. Be careful, it's very flammable, even in the 151 version.

I've tried 100% pg, 20% pg, 50% pg in the same juice.

No question to me that high VG has less flavor and kills cartos. At least in my experience. I accidently ordered 80vg/20pg peach and pinapple from vapor bomb and almost cried. I went through the stuff like crazy because there's little TH, and went through 2x as many cartos.

Adding a bit of distilled water helped a bit. Never, ever would I vape PGA. I'm not saying it's bad to do, just that I won't do it.

Totally reasonable. Since I DIY, and it turns out that just about everything I use already has it, I'll call things I make "0PG", but not "100%VG". I haven't used any of my bottle of Devil's Springs since I started using organic flavorings, since even the 0PG blends are plenty thin enough.
