This is totally gonna be a ramble... get ready...

So when I first started vaping just over a month ago - a higher PG content seemed to be the clear choice. I think I needed the throat hit to help me ween myself off the nasty analogues. Now that i've tried a few flavors in 80/20 and a couple of the smooth EcoPure bases from Annette, it seems that the PG is no longer necessary. My question to you guys - is have you found any difference in flavor between your higher PG and 100% VG juices? I think I understand that PG absorbs the flavor faster, such that 100% VG may require a little more steeping. which is fine with me.

I know this question comes up a lot and is often determined by personal preference, but I was wondering if anyone had any input on this topic specifically regarding Annette's (dyno-Mite!) juices.

Oh - and big ups to Annette! I think I've made six or seven orders from VV since I started vaping. I no longer order samples from her smaller than 1/2 ounce - She's really earned my trust with her product and has yet to disappoint. Since discovering virginvapor I've only made a couple orders from other vendors, really just to try Boba's Bounty and a couple of juices that seem to have earned major universal appeal.

One more thing... BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE FOR THE WIN!!! (I've been through about an oz and a half of this stuff so far and it just gets better, the flavor really matures with steeping and the cheesecake really starts to show itself after about a week - I've even got an oz of the EcoPure Blueberry sitting in reserve and steeping for a special day... this stuff is GREAT!)

So that's my ramble - any input is appreciated.

thanks,
Jay

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question, but...

It's hard for me to say as I had already been vaping for almost a year before I found Annette's liquid gold:) I had not tried a lot of juice vendors only two maybe three prior to VV. I started with the higher PG content just because that is what I always had before. One day I just decided to order 100% VG - I do get extra flavor with almost all flavors and seriously have never felt better. It's all subjective...but for me 100% VG all the way baby...with extra flavor:)

I have with other vendors but not with Annette's juices. It really shocked me at first just how tasty they were when I expected them to be dull and flavorless. Nope, not Annette's...they're good no matter what mix you buy.

Madsen, that's a good question. I did a lot of back-n-forth comparison early on (learned that PG gives me major zits) and definitely noticed a diff the performance of all-VG and PG-heavy juices. I may be glorifying the past, but I remember that VG had much more of a distinct flav to it. And sweeter, heavier, with those famous clouds of vape.

When I'd return to PG from time to time, I remember enjoying its lighter base, cleaner flavs, and slightly stronger TH. But I soon began to miss the VG. Maybe it's because my skin cleared, but I soon found the VG taste itself to be addictive in some way.

I'm a musician who likes many styles of music, so this metaphor works for me: if PG is like acoustic jazz (with an electric bass), then VG is like southern rock (with 3-part harmonies). Each is cool in diff ways.

To come back to your question, the VV juices have redefined what all-VG juices can be, IMO. I'd been trying VG juices from several popular vendors before Tyler so graciously turned me onto VV. To me, the VV juices taste so clean and pure (acoustic jazzy) that I suggest that people begin with the all-VG juices to experience something special. It's really fine stuff, regardless of flav or nic level. If after a couple of weeks the TH isn't enough or the clouds are too much, and PG itself isn't a prob, then a PG mix would do. It's all good.
