Personal choice on that one G-webb. I vape 80pg/20vg. As a rule of thumb more pg = bigger TH, more vg = bigger vapor. Vg has a tendancy to mute flavors a little while pg transmits flavors better. if you DIY I have found at 80/20 you can dial back flavor concentartions down to about 10 - 14% range. Of course your tastes will vary.

I tried 100% PG, did not like it. I am using 80/20 and 70/30 (pg/vg), like the 70/30 best.

same for me but it depends on what I vape ... for example if I mix my own juice I use a VG nicotine base and dilute with PG and flavours ...

Some pre-made like the DK vanilla for example I vape as 100% VG dripping, DK cherry or menthol preferable as 100% PG, the VG just tastes odd for both ... So I'd say there is no real "that the best mix" as it might differ depending on the flavour ...

I'm new to vaping too and was trying to figure the same thing out. In my opinion I'd prefer the throat hit over the amount of vapor. I had an ecig awhile back and barely got any throat hit with it but an alright amount of vapor. I stopped using it though because the throat hit was not nearly enough. I really wanted to start vaping but I would take a couple drags and then just smoke an analog because that had the throat hit I was looking for. I guess it comes down to personal preference with the pg/vg mixtures and i'll just have to kind of figure it out on my own. I'll definitely be starting with more pg though.
