What is the actual difference? I know I could just Google it but I thought I'd rather get an answer from people who are well informed rather than articles
PG is propylene glycol. It gives more of a throat hit and provides a bit stronger flavor. It is also a thinner consistency. VG is vegetable glycerin, it is smoother and creates more vapor. It is a thicker liquid.
PG is thin, watery, slightly bitter in liquid form and gives a good throat hit (feel) when vaped with low amount of vapor. Carries flavor well.
VG is thick, syrupy, sweet tasting, gives lots of vapor and a low throat hit. Doesn't carry flavor as well as PG (so some say.. I have no problem with flavor )
Apart from personal preferences in terms of ratio, the low viscosity of PG is important in some tank atomizers to allow them to wick correctly. If you are using an RDA you can use as much VG in the mix as you like.
