is it fixable? or does it just go in to the used and abused dead ecig parts pile?

Easy but need a bit of care..poke in a straightened paper clip into the hole and when reach the bottom (feel for a resistance) push gently in a couple of times but careful not to break the fragile diaphragm...and then suck gently out, if lights up easy with gentle suction it will be fine..if not repeat process and turn it upside down and gently knock it against a thick book or paper pile..that will knock off the debris(or even liquid) that got stuck inside..good luck...:D
