(Input Phil's website here).com/wordpress/page/3/
This is a theory I've had all along and I'm glad to see that Phil has broken things down to the fact that the heads that taste worse seem to have a shorter inner metal casing (but with notches that are higher up and may not be aligning as well with the level of the holes) with less notches at that.
Now, to me, I don't see how that particular aspect makes a difference, but it does prove there's two different versions out there (I refuse to be disrespectful, but how I'd love to make certain users here look like absolute fools for saying that I must be crazy for believing there may be two different versions). The 4-hole was already a known version, and now there seems to be two versions of the 2-hole.
While the problem wasn't pinpointed, I think this goes to show that Phil's heads were different from the ones we may be getting. That being said, not all experiences have been bad even from the same vendor I ordered mine from, but Phil's initial experience was certainly better than mine (and with researching even outside ECF, the Aspire is a VERY polarized device right now, the ratio between good and bad is almost reaching 50/50.)
Hopefully, with the input Phil will send to Eigate, the weird taste problem may be fixed.
