Just pondering some questions, be interested to see what u others think....
1. what would happen if the powers that be banned Cigarettes and all forms of tobacco globally, tommorow? how do you think society would react?
2. what would happen if they did the above and banned all forms of Nicotine in any form, NRT, ECIGS,Everything?
3. what would happen if they did the above and banned all forms of Nicotine in any form, NRT, ECIGS, and no black market?

IMO Banning Cigs might happen in the next 20years, but the rest will be there hopefully

IMO Banning Cigs might happen in the next 20years, but the rest will be there hopefully

1. Smokers move to vaping
2. People go to the black market for nic products.
3. Same as #2. Anything illegally bought is technically already from the 'black market' and try as they might the PTB will never stop illegal activity, regardless of the laws that they pass. Murder is one of the worst crimes punishable by law and yet is occurs far too frequently.

I collect old books. One of them has the procedure for making a bug control solution from tomato plants. The active ingredient is nicotine.

I suspect it'd take about a week before some chemist would post on the Internet a modern way to extract pure nicotine from tomatoes or peppers or any of the other plants in that family.

Well... as usual... they ban it and some people get insanely rich by selling it. Then they go to war. Then they lose the war and legalize it again. We're seeing it every 50 or so years. Currently they are already losing it with drugs so there's no danger.
