I have tried adding caramel to things, but it smells really sour to me. Is that another "has to steep" thing?

Well considering I am the worst DIY person in the world I am going to see my way out of this conversation and leave you guys to it! I think I am going to do my best to try to get some sleep, my glands are still swelling and I believe my fever is getting worse. And I am running on an hour and a half of sleep! I've heard sleep helps when you are sick so if I can actually force myself to do that it will be a good thing!
So with hot cup of tea in hand I am off!
You guys are free to take bets as to how long it will be before I come back saying I can't fall asleep!
