My wife is in love with her Phiniac tank. She loves everything about it... but the cartos. She says that the cartos mute the taste. She vapes mostly AVE Rootbeer. I use Boge LR Cartos in my Arry Tank and yes it mutes the flavor a bit, but not enough for me to care. I have a few thoughts to try and thought I would seek the opinion of others:

1) Try Smoktech, Kanger, or other cartos that run at lower Ohms or use horizontal coils.
2) Try CE2... this one I am not sure if it will work. I see people claiming to be using the stainless steel CE2's in tanks. I haven't ever tried a CE2 and I see reviews stating they aren't that good. I would hate to order some and have them either not work or not help.
3) Order her juice with a flavor bump... maybe this will offset the muted flavor?
4) Punch an older 510 LR Atty. The stainless does not go to the top of the tank, but with the lack cap on it may work. Anyone know of a way to use Cartos in a tank?

I had some fluxomizers a friend gave me and they are too wide to fit into the tank. I am open to all sorts of suggestions. She loves her Phiniac and would be very saddened if she couldn't use it because of the cartos.

If you're going the horizontal coil route, be sure to punch an extra hole than normal in them. I was very disappointed that my horizontal coils didn't work well in my phiniac until I punched two holes in the bottom and one near the top for airflow. They give a warmer vape and they fill really nice on the initial fill-up (with 100% vg), but I'm probably going to stick with boge cartos. Perhaps your wife could try punching an extra hole in a boge to see if that helps.

There has been talk that removing the fill material from a horizontal coil carto can be a nice makeshift atty if she's interested in some experimentation.
