For anyone with a Phoenix v5, you might have noticed a few problems with airflow. Mainly because the airflow hole is nowhere near the coil.

The initial setup fails miserably but don't worry there is a quick and easy fix.

Replace the Allen Bolts with screws.
This will allow the airflow holes to align with the top of the posts.
Now when you make your coil, simply rotate it so that it sets right on top of the pos and neg posts that you used.

You will need to use more wicking material than normal because there is more length that the liquid needs to travel. Other than that you should be golden. uploadfromtaptalk1368824357105.jpg

With much fiddling around with the Phoenix V5 I have to say that my first fix DOES work, but you need to be very mindful of the outer housing.

If you roll large coils, then I would steer clear from positioning the coil to the top of the posts just because it can easily come into contact with the outer housing and cause a short VERY easily. While you could make sure to meter it out and check for shorts that way...Its just not worth the risk. You can get away with it if you are careful, but in my opinion it just isn't worth the risk.

Its just as easy to drill a hole into the outer housing on the Third Ring and actually a lot safer...So this is what I would recommend doing because well...no one wants to have a damaged MOD/Battery/Face
