well all i know is the a7 i got is about 6-7 months old easy and i dont remember where but it was sold as an a7, so kinda late to get mad now but if it is a mini it explains a lot of confusion for me.

but after searching for both versions and looking at pics i dont have a mini, i have this one.

so unless there is a mystery version out there i never seen i think its not very big at all.

you will have some room to work, more the the phoenix clone but the posts stick up 5 mm over the seam in the body so the inside isnt as roomy as it appears just looking at the length

That's the regular one. The mini doesn't have the lines etched into it. Also side by side, it's really not that much smaller than the regular one.

indeed, that's the regular, and the length is not too different between the standard and mini, the difference appear to be in the separation between the posts:
