"Issue" ... when the speaker means "PROBLEM".

eg: "You have issues."

If it's a PROBLEM, then CALL IT A PROBLEM. Don't PC it down to some cutesy
sugar-coated word.

There is one that is worse, when you call a problem an "Opportunity"

You're not going to believe this but...

The use of "axe" is one of the quirks of language that just plain pisses me off... perhaps the most.
Until last year.

In fact... it's "aks" and quite possibly predates "ask" linguistically. I have to let this one go... it's legit.
