Physical diff of reg atty and LR atty

I got one of each when i ordered but had to return one, i think i returned the LR cause all these look the same. for when i order again, what is the physical diff to look for to ensure wich is a LR atty from a reg atty?

There's really nothing to LOOK at. If you have a voltage meter, you can tell using that.

Most vendors mark their LR atties with a 'LR' on there somewhere though.

the best thing to do is mark them with something like nail polish or put a notch on the lr so you can tell the difference. then it is quickly noticeable.

I don't know if this is true for all ... hopefully people will chime in and either support or refute this ... but all the LR's I've gotten have a washer around the bridge, and none of the normal atties I've gotten have had this washer. Like i said, I don't know if this has been coincidental due to manufacturer, or if it distinguishes an LR.

neither had it, will mark the ones i just ordered when they get here.
they should mark them somehow though if there is no noticable difference, otherwise they could take advantage of us newbies.

The washer can be on a lr or a regular atty, depends on who manufactures it.
