pic in PM

I was trying to put a picture in a PM, but it won't let me use one on my computer, just from a URL. wondering if that is just the way it is? thanks

I can copy from another thread but I can't load it straight to the PM from my computer either

Somewhere around here is the max image size limit for both supporting and non supporting members. I think the system will size down to the max limit but it balks if the image size is grossly out of bounds.

Sorry all. Attaching photos to your PMs isn't an option. A hosting service like imgur would be good idea for those who wish to share photos via PM.
