I picked up a set of covers today for my 60 watt TC mod in white and paid 5.99 in local vape shop.

Was watching for this cover to come in and finally arrived in the vape shop.

using RSST single coil Ni 200 pure nickel wire in my 12 wrap build with .18 ohms and 500 degrees.

working great----- No Dry Hits !!!!

before I changed to the Ni200 pure nickel wire I was getting a dry hit every now and then.

The option of changing the covers on this mod and it's very light weight is what made me buy the iStick 60w. Only complaint I have with it is the delay between pushing the button and it actually firing, especially at lower wattages. Still, I bought all the available colors for the covers at the same time as I bought the mod because I couldn't resist the options it gives me. Just wish there was more colors! I'd love it if there was a purple or orange or a true green (like Christmas green), even yellow, though it's not my favorite color. I'm tempted to remove the magnets on one and create a silicone mold of it so I can cast my own resin versions of them in any colors I want and just get similar magnets for all the ones I'd make, lol. ...Okay, shutting up about that now.

It's great that your new build is working so well for you. Personally, I bought a lot of NI200 wire that I rarely get to use because my sensitive teeth react badly to it if I use it for too long for some reason. I still get occasional use from it though so the wire stays in my kit.

Currently I've been building with stainless steel when I haven't just been lazy and just popped a prebuilt coil in one of my tanks. I'm anxiously awaiting for my two new Reuleaux mods to arrive (probably by tomorrow) so I can take full advantage of the 316 SS wire in temp control mode. Just hoping the mods don't give me any troubles like some people are reporting. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Nice to hear from another 60 watt tc owner------at 5.99 for 2 covers---you could take a set and paint them or use colored tape/contact paper/mod skin material---you

can order a mod skin in different styles and should be able to order a small amount of the material to stick onto your covers........I find if I use thinner wire then it

seems to heat up faster-----I am using 26 guage 3mm dual coils regular kanthal rite now......on my dead modz atomizer.....>

I got mine with the Melo 2 atty and haven't looked back... My SubTank, all my Aspire Attys, and all my RDAs are collecting dust now... I usually use a 0.3 ohm coil, but I'm using a 0.5 ohm Clapton at the moment, not really impressed, It seems to be indistinguishable from the 0.3s I was using...

There is a half-second delay between hitting the fire button and the coil actually firing, but I can live with that, given all the other virtues of this little mod. I'm running at 52.5 watts, and haven't even tried it below 40, so I don't know if the delay gets worse or not.

I liked mine enough that I bought one for my girlfriend, moving her p from an iStick 40tc. The frame and panel colour options keep us from getting them mixed up, which is good, because I can't stand the flavors she's into... lol
