That's equivalent to saying that a Bic lighter is a tobacco product Bic lighters don't grow out of the Earth. Just saying.
The tanks I haven't had good luck with every time they come in season something happens and don't get no crop. Er tanks

Parody not to be taken seriously.

But it's what the government's done... they are making manufacturers put on the boxes that this stainless steel rda (for instance) was "derived from tobacco."

Hahaha... it's insane.

There are several ongoing threads about the deeming regulations but here is the biggest one:

Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

Of course we have a slight reprieve for the time being and under Scott Gotlieb the FDA is listening to us a little so the fat lady hasn't sung quite yet, but some of it is already in effect.

I just view it as more amusing commentary by regulators who don't even understand what they are regulating yet. Because, they don't, at least back then they didn't.

"IF WE DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT ALL IS, LET'S JUST CALL IT ALL NICOTINE PRODUCTS. YEAH. THAT."

I also must admit that I find it funny in an "I'd better find it funny or I will cry" type way. I did inspect my first tank with that warning label, looking for a HINT of nicotine and then I realized it was empty and that *I* needed to fill it first. Dry hit avoided.

I think there are a few vendors doing "age verification" not so much "verification of age." With that said, depending on a lot of factors, I think there are ways to electronically verify age without handing over a copy of a DL, though I'd think that would be the most reliable one.

Since very little is private in this day and age, I really don't mind the vape shop knowing I need to wear glasses to drive, and I think in fact there are probably ways to verify age electronically without sending a copy of a DL that I actually consider more invasive of privacy, probably. I don't see the request for the DL very often, but I quite frequently use overseas vendors.

I just ordered from an online vape store and they asked for last four digits of my SS number, now I’m worried lol!

OMG, I get asked that so often for "verification" that I just think I'm going to get those last four digits tattooed on my forehead.

BTW, SS has this arcane system of "numbering" that I know has something to do with your parent's numbers, your place of birth, and etc. I think the last four digits are what actually identify you. I'mma gonna check.

Social Security Numbers Structure

Hmm... mostly got it correct. I always thought they wanted the "last 4 numbers" for security reasons, it's actually those that you want to keep private.

Okay, so I'll get em tattooed on my .....

Seriously though, I give that number without hesitation, I've been trained into it by various "institutions." I'm not sure it means that much anymore. I'd actually rather give out that info than say, my fingerprints and etc.

I bet I have been fingerprinted more than many offenders. When you work with kids and whatnot, you get fingerprinted non-stop 24-7, not to mention when I naturalized.

Back in the day (don't know if it's still true) they were giving everyone blood tests to enter on green cards.... It's how my dad found out he contracted hep C during surgery to correct his repeated lung collapses, back in the late 70's, they pumped him full of a bunch of quarts (he almost died) and they weren't testing blood back then. I was fairly young, but I don't remember a major freakout on his end.... That had to have been an unpleasant "crossing" of the pond, I think.
