Looks like the insulator base of a drip tip and he just removed the drip tip part

I think I'm goinf to give it a bit of sanding to remove the rivets and make it smooth so it will look a bit like the pyrex driptips, something like this

Both are FT clones and figuring out a build that wont leak is a chore. AIOS is unusable as mesh atty with default wick hole, going to drill it to 2,5mm or larger.

Hey man. I LOVE that setup. I've got almost the exact thing. Yeah, took me a while to figure out what the best way to set it up in AIOS-T mode. But here's what works for me. And it works very well. Make a SS mesh wick long enough to reach from the plastic insert in the deck up into the tank section about half way. When you wrap your coil around the mesh, put 3 or 4 pieces of silica around the mesh at the bottom. Make sure the silica is long enough to touch the bottom of the tank around the mesh. Wrap your coil however you want down on the deck. Wet the deck area wicking with a little juice to get it started. Then slide the tank down over the mesh and tighten it down. Put the shrould on the tank, fill the tank, screw the cap on the tank and put the top on the AIOS along with a drip tip. Vape like a crazy man! This build works perfectly for me over and over. You can turn the rig in any orientation and it won't leak. I take big ol' lung hits with the air flow control wide open. It really just works for me. This is with some MBV 50/50 Hawk Sauce and a few other 50/50 blends. I haven't tried it with Boba's yet 'cause I'm using my ZAP and Provari for that right now. Let me know how it goes!!
