Here's a pic of my chrome ipv 2 Mini - just finished wrapping it in a gunmetal carbon fiber wrap.

Ah - so annoying, cant post pics from links, cant upload, cant delete old pics. I'll figure it out.

Ok - was at my quota I guess from only posting 4 photos. Deleted them to make space...

Lol. Once you're past the required post count, it can take a little bit to update

It looks nice. I would stick with the carbon fiber over solid black middle. But I still think the polished aluminum was great. There only thing stopping me is loosing the goat head logo on mine, but as it gets more and more scratched, I may do it

You wouldn't lose it. Mine is still there. My IPV Mini 2 I ordered without the goat head and just the normal IPV logo. They are laser engraved. It didn't effect it at all.

Then a mechenical box mod doesnt exist because you cant move the electricity without wires now you can in a tube because the negative is the tube but you cant have a box without wires so a mechanical box mod is a box with only 3 wires a negative wire that runs strait to the bottem a positive to the switch and a positive to the 510 and as for ypur statment before that its called paying attention in order for a battery to hit thermal runaway it must first get hot and i dont chain vape it i pick it up take a hit or three and go on about my life so there is no room for it to get hot enough to cause a problem

Mechanical and unregulated are two different things. Without a mosfet your device loosely fits the mechanical description but most purists consider anything with wiring in it to not be mechanical. I think the biggest thing he was poking you about was that switch. It is not how often you hit it, or how hard you hit it, that switch is a 6amp switch at best. It may have been advertised as being more or not. dunno if you checked. The risk with that switch is failure, and it is going to fail. Is it going to fail open? no harm no foul, pop a new switch in. Is it going to weld itself "on" while you pick it up for a short hit driving down the road? It could very well do so. You will rapidly exceed the temp limits and go into thermal runaway on your batts at that point.

Put a mosfet in man, couple of bucks, peace of mind. Hell, put a few in parallel and have a true ninety bazillion watt mod only limited by your batts and your lack of concern for this type of thing. Or not, it is your face and hands after all. :) People use this type of mod you have all the time for subohming and things are fine, nothing bad happens until it does. People drive drunk all the time, by the grace of god nothing bad happens until it does.

Subohming is only as dangerous as a persons naivety or nonchalance

Typed out while vaping a .11 build on a hybrid mod powered by a 25r that never gets warm. :)

Here's a few of mine. I Just mirror polished my IPV Mini 2. It gets paint chips no matter how well you take care of it. Mine never left the house. Sat in a microfiber sun glass bag too. Terrible paint on the Mini's. Don't think I'll be purchasing any P4Y devices any time soon. Anyway, I do the 3M Vinyl wraps (I have a laser CAD cutter at work). And I make custom Lexan mod holders. Here's my collection of VW mods. I'll post my mech mod collection some other time. I have to go wrap my newly polished IPV Mini 2 in some CF Vinyl.
