Pictures uploaded to album end up sideways

Not sure what's going on here. Any help?

Most likely because the pictures are actually taken that way. Landscape is the default format for almost all graphics programs. (and digital cameras).

If you want the photo to be in portrait format you would need to edit the file in gimp, photoshop, or some other image editing program - rotate it 90 degrees.

I'll give that a whirl

I'm taking the photos with the Iphone, and when I download from my email they are oriented up right. its only after the upload that they go landscape. I'll see what happens in the editor.
