I've noticed it doesn't seem to be attachments but the actual linked image, all that images I have found missing are linked to people's effect albums, and all the pictures are gone from mine.

Pictures seem to be working fine. Links to pictures result in a whirligig in a black box. I also notice that yesterday.

That's Strange.
When I'm in the Original Thread I can't see the Attached Picture. And when I click on it I just get a Blank Picture Box with a Loading Symbol.
But when I click on it i the quote in this thread it comes up in a Seperate Tab and it looks fine.
(I'm Using IE9 / WIN7 with ActiveX Filltering On and Privacy Tracker On.)
I would like to do a test

it takes me to a logging page of ECF asking me my user name and my password , just as if were log off from ECF
That's Strange also.
Log On/Log Off Issues are many times related to Cookies. Maybe Clearing out your Browser's Temp Cache would help.
but i am perfectly log on into the forum, only that link is taking me away but it never log me off , it has to be a broken link on that post, I have not problems on my end

btw i made roly aware of the problem and he sent it to the techs.
