Anyone know where I can find drip tips that are actual hard plastic. Not Delron, not metal, just plain old hard plastic?

goodprophets black ones are plastic. They are from Heaven Gifts, I think. For some reason, their site is blocked at my work so I can't link to it.

you mean the twisted drip tips ? I didnt know what they were made of. Most are delron and for some reason I dont like the feel of it,

At first I didn't like it either and thought it gave the liquid a funny aftertaste. But now that I've used it on my 5v mod I really like it. Not sure what it's made of though.

Have you tried the anodized aluminum ones? They are basically Delrin coated with Aluminum. They are nice and light, and almost feel like Delrin, until you put one to your lips/mouth. Amajn's E-cigs | Ecig Liquid and Hardware Reviews has a nifty deal on 'em! There's a 10% code out there for them too.

just wanted to chime in here a sec...the updates on the forum still arent stable for me...

yes delrin is a plastic....but it's a specific type of plastic...and it only comes in black, white or natural...delrin is actually a brand name it's acetal it's a thermoplastic polymer... and it's made mainly for the food industry to be foodsafe and be anti microbial and unbreakable...

the twisted tips appear to be acrylic... (google acrylic pen blank... and you'll find the same patterns)

as for anodized aluminum.....it's not delrin coated with aluminum...it's aluminum that's put in acid and then electrically charged (creating an anode (hence the name)) that causes the pores on the aluminum to open up... and then it's put in a dye and the dye particles are electrically attracted to the aluminum and fill in the pores of the surface of the aluminum between the atoms... and then it's quenched in a warm bath which seals the color and aluminum... you can actually do it yourself at home with battery acid, a car battery charger, aluminum foil, and rit dye.... at home the dye makes it about 8 microns thick....commercially it's about 30ish microns thick...

I stand corrected! Feels like I'm back in college chemistry again. ;)

I was under the impression they were just delrin coated with aluminum powder coating. They are so light and almost feel plastic-like, so that definitely didn't help my incorrect ASSumption. :D

Just talked to my sister and she said she bought this:

155 Penstyle Kit - Best Electronic Cigarette

It says penstyle, so I assume it's an 801 model, but can someone confirm it's an 801?

Looks like it to me. If you bring up the picture, you can see that the atty is almost as big as the batty.. that would indicate it is, also that it's called "penstyle" which is the "purist" name for the 801 :)

That reminded me a lot of the SS No. 7 Classic starter kit that I got, which I'm pretty sure (I asked on the forum) was actually an RN4081:
SS Choice No. 7 Classic Starter Kit - ECigarettesChoice.com
(I PIF'd it, apparently it actually works decently, though I'm happy to have gone to my 808.)

but it states that This is NOT Genuine joyetech! - are they the real boge or not - are they as good?
I have the ego and 510 bats - will these be ok?
Im down to 2 and starting to panic - whelp!

The silver ones are Boge and the brass are SLB. The silver are good, I've used them before. Don't like the brass ones.

jojo, why don't you order them from Litecig? Are they out of stock or something? I just got two packs of them today. They are Boges and they rock...and that whole free shipping after $15 rocks too. :)
