This might be an option. Medicine Flower ~ Gifts Of The Earth ~ Essential Oils ~ Massage Oil ~ Sacred Sage ~ Smokeless Mist offers cold pressed and supercritical carbon dioxide extracts for culinary, scent and cosmetic applications. They have a watermelon flavor extract. On their website they say, " without any colorants, fillers, diluting agents or preservatives". I tried to call them for you but I got a voicemail.

Geek alert: I've tried alcohol, glycerin, steam distillation, heat-dried, freeze-dried and supercritical co2 extraction of ginger and I'm amazed at the quality of flavor and medicinal compounds in the co2 variety. If they actually have co2 watermelon flavoring, I'd bet it tastes good.

well, i'm back again ..... in search of pgfree watermelon juice

received my order from annette at virgin vapor and have no problems at all with the quality of her juice, as a matter of fact i do recommend her, but the watermelon tastes like a true honeydew, so back to square one .....
anybody?

I'd never vape any oil. I was suggesting the flavor extracts, which should not be oil based. I'd ask which extraction process that they use for the watermelon, along with the base for it.

thanks, enid - will check site tomorrow

how sure are you those oils are safe vor vaping?

i checked a little more today, enid - pricewise this doesn't make much sense. 15ml of watermelon runs $22.00, i chose the least expensive shipping for this little bottle with usps - parcel post, and the calculator came back with $6.90 for a grand total of almost 30 bucks for 15ml of watermelon extract.
i do appreciate your trying to help though, thanks again

btw as far as extraction process - they only indicate it is cold-processed

Flavour Art makes watermelon flavoring. Here's a ecf review. Read both posts. :)

I know you want pg free but it seems that vg masks the watermelon flavor.

thanks, libra - it's not that i want pgfree, due to allergies i don't have a choice! and what you found does not bode well .....

Awwwww.. but the bright side is that real watermelon is coming into season and you can eat it when you vape. I love melons.

BTW.. who's the new vet? :)

Is there an alcohol based one out there? That seems like the best option if VG masks the flavor... I'm not sure if it would work with watermelon, but I've read of people making their own extracts. For herbal remedies it is generally putting the herbs in a jar with the PGA (Vodka or Everclear work too) and seal it up for anywhere from a day to a week, maybe more depending on how strong you want it. Then you strain it through cheesecloth into another container. Someone who knows more about DIY could correct me if I'm wrong, but if you can get it strong enough, that *should* work. Then you can get Watermelon while it's in season and make enough to last the year.

daisy, i might be just a hopeless case, lol - virgin vapor all organic juice has an alcohol base in their flavorings, and vaping that juice is now starting to dry out my eyes.
markfm was nice enough to send me some fruit flavors - not watermelon, though - and i realized then i do react to alcohol. on his advice, i leave all my juice that might contain alcohol uncapped to evaporate as much as possible.
and to make matters worse, i never had a single allergy in my life, lol, and i'm no spring chicken.

Oh no!. How frustrating. Well, I suppose if you want to try to make the flavor in alcohol, then make the juice, then leave the top off like you do with the others...You could also try heating watermelon and vg in a jar, then straining it. I do not know if that would negatively impact the vg or not. It appears that vg is the most unstable part of our juice. Since we only heat it in small amounts and for very short periods of time, I don't know what would happen to it if you tried this "watermelon tea" thing. I'm just a brainstormer I guess. :D

Tib, you can get 100% vg watermelon from rockstar vapor. :) tastes Kinda like a jolly rancher but it's still yummy.

I really like void mist watermelon peach. I think they do all vg. I get 70vg 30pg or I'd offer you a sample.

thanks, guys!

even with 100% vg most vendors use a pg-based flavoring - enough to make me react unless it's also the other additives in there, like food coloring, etc.; either way, i'm gun shy enough to not take a chance. the dermatologist's bill, plus my misery, taught me a lesson.
i need to find an organic or natural flavor. markfm a while ago sent me some fruit flavor samples - not watermelon - and now i know i also react to flavors in an alcohol base.
just not a pretty picture! and the irony of all - never before in my life did i have a single allergy!!!!! go figure .....
