Pila Chargers

These look pretty sweet. Do they work with other brand batteries? If so, do I need spacers? Have a 188-WF, just looking for another (back-up).

I have a Pila and use it to charge my 18650 and 14500 batteries. It comes with spacers for the 14500's - I haven't tried any other sizes on it. Great charger, I've had it for almost a year and have been very pleased with it.

The Pila is an awesome charger. It will charge a AW 18650 IMR (1600mah) from 3.75v to 4.2 volts in about 50 minutes. My AW 18650 2600 mah lions take about an hour and 40 minutes. The only gripe I would have with it is 1) for anything other than a 650-670 mm battery(18650/17670/14650) you need spacers and 2) the charge indicator lights constantly flash when there isnt a battery inserted.

Question on charging different batteries at the same time using the Pila charger...

I currently use 3 types of batteries (AW IMR 18650 1600mAh, AW 18650 2600mAh, and AW 17670 1600mAh). Is it safe to put one type of battery in the first bay and another type in the second bay and charge them at the same time?

yes, you can. the bays act independently
