Pila Fried Itself and My Battery

My battery Sony 18650 us18650vtc4 2100 mAh 30Amp was already pretty full on charge from my xtar vp1 but I wanted fill it up again so I wouldn't have to worry about it sub ohm vaping for a couple hours. When I came back after about 30 minutes, the light on the pila was green so I took the battery out and it was so hot I'd never try to use it again. Then when I check on my pila charger it smells really burnt at the charging port where the battery got cooked. If I'm supposedly using top of the line gear, pila charger and a battery that's rated to pull 30a continuous and last 2100 mAh why am I having this problem?

Ok I'm an idiot, no need help on this one. The pila ac adaptor is 6 volts and the xtar adaptor is 12 volts, I assumed they were both 12
