can i plug the charger in with no batts and just leave it like that all the time? the instructions that came with it say to unplug it once you are done charging but that seems like a PITA and if im in a hurry, ill probably forget. anyone have input on this? love this charger btw, charges my batts super fast.

I have mine on a power strip that I can flip off, but I have left it on many times. So far no fires.
i was just curious, i left my ultrafire charger plugged in all the time and never had a problem. and the pila charger is "better" i just don't like the disco light show it puts off when its plugged in with no batts
me I'm a watt miser I have all my electronics on belkin power strips that have a remote on and off switch I turn everything off when I'm not using it the only thing that stays on is my dvr and my usverse gateway. I read somewhere that a ps3 even when turn off uses as much power as a refrigerator I shaved about $40 a month off my electric bill by powering everything down when not in use but anyway the pila is a nice charger I really like mine
