pila will last you many years. the tenergy will not.
pila turns itself off when batteries are done. tenergy goes into trickle charge which is bad.
pila charges faster. tenergy is not fast
if something goes wrong with a battery the pila will stop charging. the tenergy will not.
batteries last longer with a pila(more charges, have a set of 18650's 8 months old and still good as new) ive had batteries go bad quick with my tenergy

all in all you get what you pay for

I have had my Pila for over 2 years now.. All 3.7 volt batteries come off at 4.19 every time.. It will not over charge like Tenergys can.
Yes batteries do last much longer... The Pila will charge all 3.7 volt batteries from 10440 to 26650... If you buy one get some optional 15mm spacers for the shorter batteries...

I would agree with everything ninfreak says although I have been using the same tenergy charger for the last 3 years and have never had a problem with it. Still using some of the same batteries for the last 3 years. I do plan on getting a Pila at some point. I wanted to pick one up at Vapercon but no one had one.

I got a Pila several months ago when I bought my first mods. One can tell by a visual inspection that it is a well made device. It seems to charge my 18650 and 14500 batteries quickly, but I don't have another charger to compare to it.

I bought mine over the others because of its reputation for quality and its unique 4 stage charging algorhythm, which I can't recite to you but it made sense to me. If its true what some say that it will provide longer life to my batteries, then it will over time make up for the difference in price of cheaper chargers. Because of my interest in battery safety, I wanted the best. Exactly how I feel about my Provari. Everyone says don't skimp on battery quality. Why would you skimp on the charger?

The following are some links that have useful information about the Pila, and some have nice photos that you can observe its quality construction yourself.
