Was in the hospital for two days with what I thought was nicotine poisoning. Ive only been vaping the 6mg or 12mg juice but started to get extremely dizzy and sick.
The doctor told me it was not nicotine poisoning but sysemic absorbtion from lithium batteries.
The battery was cracked on the inside and allowed the lithium from the battery to vape with the e-liquid.

.

Very Interesting.
Several people previously have mentioned your symptoms on this forum , and most advisory replies put it down as Nic overdose.

Sysemic absorbtion of lithium from a damaged battery is another Risk which people shouldn't rule out with these things.

Here are some facts from my experiences. I have had almost all of my pilot batteries die within about a month of owning them. We're talking about 5 batteries. I do not believe that the M401 is a very reliable device. Also, when I first experienced issues with my batteries, it was when PS was on the move and was handled by someone who was supposed to field customer service. It took several days and many emails to finally get a reply. Then, when PS was settled in, it with no exaggeration, it took several emails to PS to get a useful response and overall took well over 3-4 weeks. I understand that they were in a transitional period, but nearly a month to receive a reply is unacceptable. By reading some of the other user's threads, it seems that not much has changed.

Because of this, I went from spending about $100 a month at PS to bringing my business to other vendors because I don't spend money to be aggravated. I also find it offensive to the senses that I would have to chase someone who I have spent good money with consistently, all over $20 worth of batteries. I'm sure some people have had great experiences with PS. I did business with them for almost seven months and even referred countless people to their site. But I am the sort of customer who when they are burned, it takes a lot to reaffirm their trust.

you know, it's none of my business...but being the internet i'm going to .... my nose in anyway.

let it be said...many of the initial issues people have with these devices are USER error, not the company, and not the product.

have you ever tried handing your ecig to a random person to try? they have no idea, don't get any hit, vapor, or anything.

guess what? that's YOU. yeah, you just bought a new item that you've never used, and you don't know how to use it.

sorry, that's just how it is.

watch some videos, do some troubleshooting, read the forums.

hell, go have a beer.

then come back and play with your ecig and tell us that it's a horrible device and it's broken and no one cares about your problems.

i spent DAYS reading, actually i waited 3 weeks for my first ecig the EVO (sorry steve you were out...funny thing, got my Pilot the day before my EVO though) and i knew too much for my own good.

however...it worked perfectly fine, and i knew what i was doing because i did my research.

yes, sorry, this is abrasive and insulting, but generally (not 100%) true.

and plus, i've ALWAYS had my emails to puresmoker responded to, and usually within hours.

all i'm saying folks...before getting all huffy, ask around the forums about your problems and work out if it's YOU that doesn't know what you're doing...or the hardware is actually malfunctioning.

I've been smoking ecigs for 10 months now. I have 901s, 401s and currently smoke 510s. I know what I'm doing. The product was inferior. I drip my atomizers nightly and clean them every few days. The Pilot M401 never lasted for me. I still have my first 901's and they still hit great.

Anyway, maybe what happened to me was a single, unique experience, but I don't have patience to chase people around to make good on their claims. The suppliers who I currently buy from are awesome and one even called me on his own to make sure that my order is correct. I'll stick with him.
