anyone else getting this? i do high/max vg 75 watts .2 ohms

for about the last 6 months i get nose bleeds in the morning, find blood on my pillow, red sores on my nose, pimples on my nose, and now SCARS on my nose from them! this isnt everyday but here and there but lately more frequent...

so yeah im pretty ...... off, i drink about 1 gallon of water a day throughout the day

been vaping over a year
Believe me, in all sincerity I am not trying to be funny.
Based on your own description of where you're finding blood & red sores, have you checked your bed for bedbugs?
As far as the nose bleeds, you didn't say if it's running or dry blood in your nose you wake up to.
Scars come from healing or you picking at the sores.

He posted last night 10pm. He left shortly after posting. Could be he is working today. He is a regular poster of sorts. Has quite a few under his belt. I would guess that he is not one of those, that we see every now and then, that post health issues and then split never to be seen again.

Let's not start a witch hunt here. ;)

Most definitely not trying to start a witch hunt. Lot of stuff like post count doesn't show when I use Tapatalk- I use it a lot.

No problem ;)

Just a friendly reminder :D

Seems we have been bombarded lately with vaping is causing x or x. With all the negative press (ANTZ are really running scared aren't they?) I can understand people coming here with some doubt.

SJ once said that if there wasn't as much fear mongering, the statistics of new people vaping would be much higher.

ok so I never get pimples not in my life until after i started vaping, the nose bleeds are maybe once to twice a month but for no reason, I found some blood stains on my pillow a few times in the last 6 months, and I am in my late 30s

As far as seeing a dr, I wanted to see if this was common with anyone who vaped more than a year prior. and no I dont pick or touch the pimples, its actually one red pimple or big red spot/sore on my nose but in different spots. i also dont exhale through the nose

now i got 4 of them, 3 tiny and 1 big, actually those 3 small ones are now scars and are still red... became scars after being there for a week about

and yes I do work thank you and just got home

i also have dry knuckles, maybe i got rippers disease! but in all seriousness, was wondering if people who vaped more than a year have the same symptons, why waste money on a dr if its common

thanks for the uh serious responses.. x.x

p.s. I joined the forum dec 2014 and have super member for status for alot of posts, also ecf veteran so no I dont post and never return etc..

i also weight lift and do martial arts so yes im active

Vaping here for over 1.5 years after being a PAD MB Red smoker for over 35 years. I have not experienced anything except for a dry mouth. In terms of overall heath I have never felt better then I do now in many years of smoking. The biggest most pleasing thing is I barely get out of breath any longer and when I do from over exertion I get my breath back faster then I did while smoking. Since I brought the new TC40W today I even cut the nicotine more than half. At .6 now!

actually i was wrong, i apparently do exhale out my nose but not alot so, the tips of my nostrils are sore too so i am sure it is from vaping

no i started with ego style 70 pg 30 vg then 50/50

last jan was when i started to sub ohm but started at .7ohms > .5, and now .2

been doing .2 for about 8-9 of those months

I vape .5 ohm duals on a mech, so in the 30-40 watt range but I also vape high PG (65%) so this is what I believe is causing my nose issues. And I am not one to run around and blame vaping for anything and everything but I am sure that vaping is what has caused this change in me.

But at this point if I have to choose between a small nosebleed here and there vs. what cigarettes offer a little blood wont scare me off.

75 watts, i dont do temp control, used to be 80 but i really dont think its that, i think its the exhaling out my nose, i thought i didnt but i naturally watched myself in front of a mirror and apparently i do

Are you vaping at high temperatures? Maybe time to turn your MOD down a notch or 12?

Didn't Rip do a video on this[emoji85]

Ya know I never understood till now, that vapers are so in love with their vapes they refuse to admit it may cause issues with some people.

In fact the attitude is very similar to our foes that believe vaping is nothing but bad news.

I'm wondering also if you've gained an intolerance to VG as I've seen a few posts recently across a few forums of people having problems, I know from my experience anymore then 30% VG causes me problems and am planning to cut back to 20% soon. PG issue's are well known but as more people are going higher VG we're seeing more health enquiries and more people reporting issue's my GP who has been fantastically supportive of my vaping advised me against high VG till he had looked into it more but as usual I didn't go back.

I am the same way anything over about 40/50% VG causes me issues to the point I can't vape it.
