Casimir Pulaski Day is a holiday observed in Illinois on the first Monday of every March in memory of Casimir Pulaski (March 6, 1745[1] October 11, 1779), a Revolutionary War cavalry officer born in Poland as Kazimierz Pułaski. He is known for his contributions to the U.S. military in the American Revolution by training its soldiers and cavalry.
That's right, MaryKay, and we have statues everywhere to prove our love for him and the Poles! And food...oh, the food...well, now I've gone and made myself hungry ;p

Boss is being an #$&hole.... We got a budget truck at work because one truck got totaled last week..... He can actually drive it (no dot card needed) so he decided to pick up totes on sunday to see how long it takes him (same amount of time as me, which he didn't want to listen to). Normally I'm off on tuesday, and I schedule all my doctor appointments on it because of that.... He didn't confirm he was going to work sunday until friday night, too late for me to cancel my appointments (one dentist, the other neurologist), so he wants me to come in to work afterwards..... Normally this wouldn't bother me, but my co-worker went to the nba all star game, her flight didn't get back until 7:30 that morning, so he told her to take the day off..... So for a personal reason it's ok to miss work, for a medical, no..... I'm the only person who schedules their doctors visits around work at my job, and this is the thanks I get......
Pet those puppies for us! I miss having animals but we are gone too much and it's unfair to them. I love hearing everyone's pet stories, however, makes it almost like having one - almost

Department of transportation medical card. You have to do a physical, have normal blood pressure, and not be diabetic.... If a company has a truck not of cdl dimensions, that they own or are leasing by year (by month you're exempt) you are required to have one in order to drive it. He's diabetic (bad diabetic), so he can't get one... Really he shouldn't be driving at all, but yeah......

Moran..something I tell my kids..a year from now it won't matter and you will most likely be better off. There is nothing worse then a PITA boss but it's better then being unemployed.

I agree with you Ms. Mk. In a year, it really won't matter... I'll be at another job... Finally made the decision to make my hobby my career... Just taking classes to cover any of the items I'm not familiar with...
Well, that was my first year of college....so that means I'm not walking up the hill anymore.
